The Bere Regis & District Swimming Club, now known as "Bere Regis Orcas" was formed in 1976 with its main purpose to teach swimming to children in this rural area. We are an ASA affiliated club and find many benefits from this association with the national body governing swimming.

We currently have around 150 members, 13 swimming teachers and 8 club helpers. It is interesting that two of our club teachers come from the ranks of our swimmers.
